Lately every Tom, Dick and Harry are talking about artificial intelligence and its greatness. Each company tries to adapt that greatness to reap the benefit. But the sad truth is “Did they see the other side of the coin?”
Future of Artificial intelligence is numb, insensitive and ridiculous. This is not because it is designed like that but trained to be like that way by us, the very user of AI. But why? Let’s see the trend of AI and its children like generative AI, machine learning etc.
Clearly, Artificial intelligence was an amazing discovery of the humankind unless it is not advertised as replacement of human intelligence. This kind of thinking makes us to feel that there is something ahead of us who knows everything and we can completely depend on it without any second thought.
Humans believe AI can help them to overcome every difficulty, hurdle they face and for some extent it will and can help to overcome but other side of this, humans will slowly lose the amazing gift given by our evolution the power of thinking and finding solution.
“We will de-evlove at a faster rate than we evolved”
The process of engineering AI is evidently the process of reversing the Human evolution. AI will evolve by making us not to think, process, debate, decide and finally evolution. In my view, it is like parasite which eats its own host and lastly it consumes the host completely.
One day, it can reconfigure itself to grow over and starts to control us. At that very moment, human would have already become dumb, idiots and not able to differentiate real vs fake. The complete loss of the sixth sense this amazing nature has given to us to live, prosper and protect the very own nature who create us. Irony rite?? We should see AI as our protector dogs not as partner for our living.
Purpose is lost – This will the future of the AI and humans if we continue to easy close our eyes on the other side of this coin.
